Hey! My name is Ilana Rubin. I’m a Product Designer with a background
in learning and training for
Customer Support. I’m passionate about leveraging this experience creating learning materials and working with stakeholders for my design roles. My previous experience has taught me to prioritize empathy, communication, and constant iterating in order to achieve functional, good design that can excite and help others.

Hey, I’m Ilana and I’m an NYC based UX and Product Designer who aims to incorporate emotional intelligence and humor into leveraging a businesses’ ideas into growth and progress.

I’ve worked in the Customer Support space in tech since 2016 and through this lens and my own experience as a product consumer, I’ve learned a ton about how customers navigate technology from both a novice and expert perspective.

This chapter in my life helped burgeon and nurture a passion for how design can be used to optimize product functionality, kickstarting my UX journey.

Outside of confusing people over how my name is spelled and pronounced I am also a part-time DJ. I love talking with (or at) people about music (dance and disco is back in a big way!), eating pasta, and laughing with my friends and family.
